Otto Mand, Founder of EagleOnyx

“Having M365 and having it configured correctly are two completely different things. I audit tenants that have been running for years and routinely find legacy authentication still enabled, oversharing on by default, and licenses paying for features nobody turned on. Turning it on is easy. Setting it up right takes someone who actually knows the platform.”

What you get

What’s Included in Microsoft 365 Management

Migration from existing email and systems

Whether you are moving from Google Workspace, on-premise Exchange, or another provider, we plan, test, and execute the migration. Email cutover happens on your schedule, with zero downtime and full data integrity verified before anything switches.

Tenant security configuration

Default M365 settings are not secure settings. Oversharing is enabled. External access is wide open. Audit logging is off. We configure your tenant correctly from the start so you are not discovering these settings during a breach investigation.

MFA and conditional access setup

Multi-factor authentication is mandatory, not optional. We configure it correctly with conditional access policies that block risky sign-ins and require strong factors. This is the control that stops credential theft from becoming account compromise.

License optimization

Most businesses are paying for M365 licenses they are not using, or using licenses that are the wrong tier for their actual needs. We audit your licensing, right-size the mix, and usually find savings without cutting anything that matters.

SharePoint and Teams deployment

Left unmanaged, Teams becomes a sprawl of unused channels and SharePoint becomes unsearchable. We structure your environment, configure governance policies, and make sure your team can actually find things.

Ongoing M365 management

User provisioning and deprovisioning, license management, policy updates, and day-to-day M365 support as part of your managed plan. Your M365 environment stays current without you having to think about it.

The real cost

What Poorly Managed M365 Costs Central Florida Businesses

Data loss from misconfigured backups

Microsoft does not back up your email, SharePoint, or OneDrive the way most business owners assume. Standard recycle bin retention is 93 days for SharePoint and 30 days for email. A misconfigured tenant with no third-party backup and a ransomware event can result in permanent data loss.

Breach from weak M365 tenant settings

Default M365 settings allow legacy authentication protocols that bypass MFA entirely. A single compromised credential in a tenant with default settings gives an attacker full access to email, files, and contacts. The median dwell time before detection is 11 days.

Wasted licenses adding up monthly

A 20-person business paying for Business Premium at $22 per user per month with 6 inactive licenses is burning $132/month, $1,584/year. Across common M365 license errors, we typically find $100 to $400 per month in savings during an audit.

Productivity loss from poor Teams and SharePoint setup

When employees cannot find files, duplicate work because SharePoint is unnavigable, or route around Teams with personal apps, the loss is invisible and constant. Governance is the difference between a tool that saves time and one that wastes it.

EagleOnyx limits new onboarding to 2 to 3 clients per month to maintain sub-5-minute response standards. 2 spots available for Q3 2026.

Why EagleOnyx

Why Central Florida Businesses Choose EagleOnyx for M365

We configure security first, not as an afterthought

Most M365 deployments get email turned on and stop there. Default settings expose your tenant to authentication bypasses, oversharing, and logging gaps. We configure security controls from the first day, not after something goes wrong.

License audits that actually find savings

The average M365 audit we run finds $100 to $400 per month in licensing waste — wrong tiers, inactive users, features paid for but never enabled. We right-size the mix and usually fund a portion of our management fee from savings in the first 90 days.

Migrations with zero email downtime

A poorly planned email migration causes hours or days of missed messages, calendar chaos, and staff frustration. We map the migration, run test cutovers, and execute on your schedule. Zero downtime is not a marketing claim. It is how we plan the cutover.

M365 management integrated with your full IT picture

M365 does not exist in isolation. It connects to your identity, your devices, your backup architecture, and your security controls. We manage the platform with full visibility into how it fits with the rest of your environment.

M365 management sits within our broader managed IT services — one flat rate covers everything.

FAQ

Common questions about Microsoft 365 management

Day-to-day we handle user accounts, license management, security policy maintenance, and any M365-related support your team needs. When a new employee starts, we provision them. When someone leaves, we offboard them cleanly and make sure their data is preserved appropriately. When Microsoft pushes policy changes, we review the impact on your tenant and handle anything that needs attention. You do not manage any of this yourself.

Because having M365 and having it configured correctly are two different things. We audit tenants that have been running for years and routinely find legacy authentication enabled, external sharing set to anyone-with-a-link, no conditional access policies, and licenses paying for features that were never turned on. Microsoft makes it easy to turn M365 on. It does not make it easy to configure it securely or efficiently. That is what we do.

It depends on your situation. For email migrations, a phased approach often introduces complexity that is harder to manage than a clean cutover. For SharePoint and Teams, a phased rollout by department often works well. We plan the approach based on what minimizes disruption for your specific environment.

Google Workspace to M365 migrations are common and we have done them cleanly. Email, calendar, and contacts migrate with high fidelity. Google Drive to SharePoint requires more planning around folder structure and permissions. We map the migration before we execute it and do a dry run before the actual cutover so nothing is a surprise.

We ask for an initial term to properly migrate and configure your environment and to demonstrate the ongoing value of keeping it managed. After that, plans renew annually. We do not use punishing exit clauses. If we are doing our job, you get a well-configured tenant, lower licensing costs, and an IT team that handles M365 for you.
